Grass & Gath really got it's start when I started making things as a teenager. Anything from Christmas cards to cupcakes. I liked to pretend I have my own company and therefore needed a company name. Born is Grass & Gath. And the tagline, 1982? That is the year I was born. 

Where does Grass & Gath come from?

I grew up as a very horsey girl and was fortunate enough to be given my own horse at the age of 16. His name is Grassburn. Even before that though, I took on responsibility for a smaller life form named Agatha, She would have vehemently disagreed that there was anything small about her. She was a little black & tan terrier, half Jack Russell, half pavement special as we like to say in South Africa. Feisty as anything and a fantastic foot warmer at night, provided you kept your feet perfectly still.

When I needed a name for my pretend company, the two most important beings in my life, my dog and my horse immediately came to mind, and so I came up with Grassburn & Agatha.
